A modern, spicy and fruity tempranillo with nutmeg and plenty of sweet spices, black pepper and pine cones. Tight and juicy on the palate with a full body and compact tannins. Flavorful, juicy and long. Shows a bit more drinkability than its peers. Drink or hold.

The 2021 Emilio Moro is a 100% Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero and was aged in 50% American and 50% French oak barrels. Garnet-red in hue. The aromas feature red fruit with balsamic notes against a fairly oaky backdrop. Dry and juicy, the mild palate has plenty of fruity flavor. This is a tasty Ribera red.

Lively orange peel acidity bolsters notes of plum sauce, kirsch, cedar and smoke. Enmeshed with the fruit, licorice and spice flavors, this balanced red's chalky-textured tannins are firm and chewy. Best after 2025.
