The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Bramare Luján de Cuyo was aged for 18 months in 25% new barrels, the rest in used. A dusky, garnet red in the glass. The nuanced nose is led by pyrazines followed by blackcurrant, blackberry and ash with camphor and potent spice notes. Intense and juicy with a slick feel, the flavors develop clearly at the back of the mouth along with a good body and plenty of subtle, measured details.

Plum, chocolate, sweet tobacco and herb aromas follow through to a full body, balance of firm tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Beautiful balanced. Lovely fruit.

Smooth berry aromas are ripe and deep, with accents of vanilla, marzipan and prune. A full-bodied palate weighs in as soft, while this tastes woody as well as jammy and a touch raisiny. Sappy berry flavors of prune and baked blackberry linger on a hefty finish. Drink through 2025.
