A vibrant red, with a core of ripe mulberry, raspberry and boysenberry fruit flavors. Light, supple tannins and lively acidity provide fine definition for the medium-bodied frame, and notes of violet, thyme, anise and iron linger on the finish. Drink now through 2030. 3,075 cases made, 880 cases imported.

The 2022 Pinotage, matured for ten months in 228 and new 400-liter oak barrels, contain some fruit sourced from the Swartland. It has a light bouquet with dark berry fruit and a light marine influence/seaweed as it opens in the glass. The medium-bodied palate has a slightly austere opening, an elegant Pinotage with a sapid finish. Fine.
