The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Sauvignon checks in as 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Merlot, all brought up in mostly French oak (38% new). Its ruby/purple hue is followed by a classic Cabernet nose of ripe darker currants fruits, tobacco, cedary herbs, and earth. Reminding me of a great Saint-Julien with its pure, elegant character, it's medium to full-bodied and has wonderful tannins, notable balance, and a great finish. It's a stunning Cabernet from this team that should have 15-20 years of prime drinking.

Broad-shouldered yet refined and polished, with expressive blackberry, savory bay leaf and stony mineral accents that build toward medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2030. 4,000 cases made.

The beautiful 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon displays rich, dark fruit and chocolate flavors, good structure and salty undercurrents. Full-bodied and ready to enjoy over the next decade.

Slightly stewed and herbaceous in the glass, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon offers a generous nose with layered fruit that sits apart from the herbs and oak essence. Full-bodied on the palate, the wine has a tannic edge that grips the gums followed by flavors of plum preserve over the spicy, lingering finish.
