Deep ruby red in color. On the nose, it shows rich spicy perfumes and black pepper notes with a hint of raisins. Full body and very intense on the palate, with balanced flavors of spices and sweet cherry.

Curiosity: Ciliegiolo is a variety of red wine grape from Italy, named after the Italian for 'cherry'. It is a minor component of traditional blends such as Chianti, but interest has revived in recent years.
