Bright, vibrant pepper and spice with lovely lifted red fruits, satiating acidity and a hint of blue fruits as well. Lithely textured with pure precision and tons of energy on the palate.

The 2020 Zinfandel Juvenile is bright, floral and nicely lifted, all of which make it a charming wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Crushed red berry fruit, rose petal, lavender and sweet spice give this mid-weight, young vines Zinfandel tons of sheer appeal, although there is some edginess in the tannin. Production is down by about 50%.
